Steve Parkhurst and Melani Conti dropped off a Heffernan Foundation grant check to Chuck Haupt, Executive Director of MedShare. Wondering what MedShare does? They are a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the environment and healthcare through the efficient recovery and redistribution of surplus medical supplies and equipment to underserved healthcare facilities in developing countries.
This is just one of the 84 grants Heffernan Foundation gave out in 2012 to help spark a difference within the communities we work in. As you hopefully know, we will be hosting our 80’s themed benefit for the Heffernan Foundation in May. Our goal is raise even more money so that we can continue to give back to organizations such as MedShare.
