Oops, we did it again. Well, believe us, it's no accident. We worked hard at and since 2003 Heffernan has been named a Top Corporate Philanthropist in the Bay Area by the San Francisco Business Times. Woop! That’s 10 years people! Last year we ranked 32nd and we are eagerly waiting to find out what our ranking will be this year. Luckily, we only have to wait until this Wednesday the 26th to find out the results.
Here are five fun facts about just how philanthropic we are as a company:
1. In 2012 Heffernan provided gift and food items to 16 Adopt-A-Families during the holidays
2. Through our employee matching program we donated to over 65 charities last year
3. We gave grants to 441 nonprofits in 2012 which totaled more than $571,411
4. Since 2010 our corporate giving has totaled more than $1.7 million
